Ich muss meine Vorgabesteine schliesslich nicht dazu benutzen, zu versuchen, dir alle Gruppen zu töten." The game is called 'Divide & Conquer'. Black's aim of K11 was to split up white's groups. Black should be persistent in his strategy. BTW, you most probably mean BL11, Wm11, Bm12, Wl13, Bm10, Wn11, Bl10 ... Wo9. You were sensing correctly that this might give problems. Black usually has some good escaping tesuji Bm8, which usually would get him out somehow, threatening to capture 4 white sones at BL7 if white resist too hard, but it does NOT work here. (also Zwischenzug nobi WL7, threatening the 7 black center cutting stones would break the escape, I guess) But what if black had given the atari from the other side (BL13-Wm12, Bj13-Wk14, Bk12 ?) If white then blocks with Wj14 she is captured in snapback with Bh14; if not Wj14, but Wh14 ... Black can escape, but white can capture cutting stone Bj10. Actually I didn't calculate this, but just played for feeling ... and I did plan to extend to nobi Wm12 after push BL11. After all its just a training game.
